SIXTY-FOUR districts across Malaysia have reported zero Covid-19 infections as of noon yesterday, according to the Health Ministry’s infographics.
This is an increment from 56 districts the previous day.
Rembau in Negri Sembilan, which was once categorised as a red zone with a total of 53 cases, now has zero active cases.
Malaysia also has fewer yellow zones, with some of them now being categorised as green zones.
As of noon yesterday, there were 63 districts with less than 20 active cases compared to 71 the previous day.
Hilir Perak, Kinta, Lahad Datu and Kota Baru, which were red zones, are now reporting active Covid-19 cases in the single digit.
Meanwhile, 13 districts continue to report more than 41 active cases.
States that do not report new infections in all of its districts in 14 days have the potential to be declared as green zones.

Lembah Pantai in Kuala Lumpur remains the district with the highest number of Covid-19 cases with a total of 634 cases, of which 347 are active ones.
Going by the cumulative total number of cases, there are 30 districts categorised as red zones.
These districts reported more than 41 cases.
Malaysia yesterday reported a total of 5,482 infections, of which 2,041 were active cases.
Death toll is at 92. – April 22, 2020.
