THE National Security Council will announce a new set of guidelines for food delivery during the Ramadan month in the next few days, said Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

“We know that this will be an issue as people might need food delivery for sahur and as such we have asked the NSC to come out with the SOP in the next few days,” said the senior minister (security) during his daily MCO briefing in Putrajaya today.

Currently, food delivery is only permitted between 8am-8pm.

The Ramadan fasting month is expected to begin on April 23 while the third MCO is only scheduled to end on April 28.

Meanwhile, Ismail Sabri urged the public to have faith in the government.

“During MCO’s second phase we decided to have mandatory quarantine for Malaysians from overseas.

“As such, we only have 17 positive cases among those coming back. Other countries that didn’t do this now have more imported cases,” said Ismail Sabri. – April 19, 2020.
