THE number of Covid-19 red zones remains at 26, with Lembah Pantai recording the highest number of cases in the country according to the Health Ministry’s Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre.
The ministry said 459 cases have been recorded in Lembah Pantai as of 12pm yesterday (April 11), followed by Hulu Langat (378) and Petaling (335) in Selangor.
Meanwhile, the Seberang Perai Utara district in Penang is now an orange zone with 23 cases recorded, making it the only district to move in the categorisation given by the Health Ministry.
A red zone is for areas with more than 41 cases, orange zone (20 to 40 cases), yellow zone (one to 19 cases) and green zone (no cases).
Yesterday, the Malacca Tengah district was categorised as a Covid-19 red zone with 44 cases.
Two more cases have been recorded there, bringing the new total to 46 cases. – April 12, 2020.
