Selangor provides 287 hotel rooms for Covid-19 frontliners

THE Selangor government has provided 287 hotel rooms to house frontliners fighting the Covid-19 outbreak in the state.

Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari said 204 of the rooms were provided by the Ampang De Palma Hotel, while the remaining 83 rooms are at the Shah Alam De Palma Hotel.

“We are starting with police and armed forces personnel before expanding it to other groups,” he said in a statement today. 

Amirudin also said that the state government had expanded its cooperation with private hospitals in terms of accepting non-Covid-19 patients from government hospitals. – Bernama, March 29, 2020.
