THE Attorney-General’s Chambers has returned the case file on Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission chief Dzulkifli Ahmad to police, instructing them to provide more details.

“We submitted three times. We now need to investigate further, following the instruction given to us,” Inspector-General of Police Mohamad Fuzi Harun told reporters this morning at a function at the police academy in Cheras.

He said Dzulkifli would be called “whenever possible” to have his statement recorded.

He was responding to a question on whether police had recorded Dzulkifli’s statement.

Dzulkifli is being investigated for allegedly enticing a married woman.

He is now at the centre of a controversy after a series of videos surfaced, showing him on holiday in Bali with a woman who is not his wife.

Police are investigating the MACC chief under Section 498 of the Penal Code for enticing a married woman.

Five days ago, Fuzi had said the case file had been returned to police as there were many follow-up steps to be taken before the papers could be resubmitted to the AGC. – November 16, 2017.
