Muhyiddin a credible and experienced leader, says Azmin

PRIME Minister Muhyiddin Yassin is a credible and experienced leader with integrity, said Gombak MP Mohamed Azmin Ali.

Azmin said he was also grateful after the week-long struggle to form a new government had come to fruition.

“After going through difficult times we have finally received the majority support from members of parliament to nominate Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin as prime minister,” he said in a statement today.

Muhyiddin, who is Bersatu president, was sworn in as the eighth prime minister before Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah at Istana Negara this morning.

Azmin said under Muhyiddin’s leadership, they were committed to forming the government based on the federal constitution and rukun negara.

“We are committed towards the national agenda to drive economic recovery, guarantee mutual prosperity, preserve the security and sovereignty of the nation, strengthen the unity of the people and enable institutional reform,” he said. – Bernama, March 1, 2020.

  • Whoever is seasoned in UMNO has little credibility. Even Tun suffers from this notion. Tun at least turns around and refuses to work with the bandits. For this we respect him. Whereas TMSY and Azmin .... just went back to the bandits den.
