GOL & Gincu actor Ashraf Sinclair died of a heart attack this morning at the Metropolitan Medical Centre in Kuningan, Jakarta. He was 40.

Ashraf died at 4.51am, according to Antara news agency.

Born in London, England, Ashraf, whose real name is Ashraf Daniel Mohamed Sinclair, was a popular Indonesia-based Malaysian actor. In 2008, he married Bunga Cinta Lestari. The couple have a son, Noah Sinclair.

The funeral arrangements have yet to be made at press time.

Ashraf, who shot to fame in Gol & Gincu, chose to pursue his career in Indonesia, where he acted in the 2008 romantic comedy Saus Kacang and several popular sinetron (television drama series). – Bernama, February 18, 2020.
