PUTRAJAYA should take disciplinary action against Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) chief commissioner Dzulkifli Ahmad following allegations that he had an affair with a married woman, said Puchong MP Gobind Singh Deo.
“Is the chief secretary to the government going to investigate this case? I think so as there are ethical rules in this country,” said Gobind during the debate on Budget 2018 in the Dewan Rakyat today.
The lawyer turned politician said the government officer could be transferred, demoted or even asked to resign.
It was reported last week that two videos had surfaced showing Dzulkifli with a woman holding hands and entering a restaurant in Bali.
The videos were uploaded anonymously on YouTube.
The woman in question has said her recent divorce had nothing to do with Dzulkifli.
Dzulkifli has denied the allegations and vowed not to bow down to the smear campaign against him. – October 31, 2017.
