MUHAMMED Yusoff Rawther’s polygraph test result is expected next week, according to his lawyer, Haniff Khatri Abdulla.

Yusoff has accused his former employer, PKR president Anwar Ibrahim, of attempting to force Yusoff to perform oral sex on him last year.

“I think the result will be completed next week. Give the police time and space to finish the investigation paper and submit it to the Attorney General’s Chambers,” Haniff told Berita Harian.

“The questions asked (in the polygraph session) cannot be disclosed because they would disrupt investigations,” Haniff said, adding his client would be willing to take the test again if needed.

On Tuesday afternoon, Yusoff spent more than five hours at Bukit Aman taking a polygraph test to help police determine the veracity of his allegation.

“The test began at 4.30pm and ended around 8.30pm. Only Yusoff and three experts were in the room at the time. The investigation officer and I waited outside.

“As of now, there is no notice of a second test. The required test was done today,” Haniff told reporters after leaving Bukit Aman.

Yusoff went to Bukit Aman on December 9 and 10 to make a statement.

The police then took Anwar’s statement on December 12 and visited his Bukit Segambut house, where Yusoff alleged the assault took place on October 2, 2018.

Bukit Aman CID director Huzir Mohamed said the police had taken statements from eight witnesses, with more to be called, including an as yet unnamed politician.

Yusoff made a statutory declaration last month and subsequently lodged a police report on December 7.

Anwar has denied the allegation, asserting he was campaigning in the Port Dickson by-election on that day. – December 19, 2019.
