THERE was no request to the government from any parties to bring in the ashes of deceased Communist Party of Malaya (CPM) leader Chin Peng to Malaysia, said Deputy Prime Minister Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.
She also said relevant ministries had been asked to look into the matter.

This is a non-issue. You do not need permission from the Government to bring back the ashes of your relative and loved one.

The government seems to be only sensitive to the 70% of Malay voters who did not vote for PH in GE14 but not to the 90% of Chinese and 80% of Indian voters who supported PH. Strange.
