Dump Guan Eng as finance minister, says PAS deputy president

FINANCE Minister Lim Guan Eng should be removed in the coming cabinet reshuffle over his failure to provide sufficient allocation for some projects under the budget, said PAS deputy president Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man.

Tuan Ibrahim, who is also Kubang Kerian MP, said Lim gave allocation preference to projects in Penang and not important ones such as the halal hub.

“Penang is given RM10 billion for development and halal hub only received an allocation of RM10 million.

“The halal market is worth billions and should have gotten more funding,” Tuan Ibrahim told reporters today.

He added Lim should also be penalised for Pakatan Harapan’s disastrous performance in the Tg Piai by-election.

However, he did not state what Lim, who is DAP secretary-general, or the party did that contributed to the loss.

Tuan Ibrahim said Lim is still blaming the previous government for all the problems instead of moving on and building the country’s economy.

“For almost two years, he’s blaming the previous government.

“I think when a new government takes over, it should focus on the future instead of harping on the mistakes made by the previous administration.”

Yesterday, Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad said he will consider reshuffling the cabinet following Pakatan Harapan’s defeat in Tg Piai.

Dr Mahathir said as prime minister, he would be responsible for a cabinet reshuffle.

He added he had heard their views and would consider demands for a reshuffle.

“It won’t happen today or tomorrow but after we have studied and observed the achievements of the existing ministers.

“We will only discuss the need for a reshuffle after that,” he told reporters after chairing the Bersatu supreme council meeting in Petaling Jaya today. – November 21, 2019.

  • PAS deputy president Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man, another otak udang. PAS is a corrupted party, and they rely on misrepresenting religion using it as a political tool. Internationally, they are being watched as a radical islamist movement who if left unmonitored will evolved to ISIS status. These of the guys who marry children and preach to the world jihad.
