A TEST drive of a flying car is scheduled for MPs on Thursday, said Entrepreneur Development Minister Mohd Redzuan Md Yusof.

He said the trial is not open for media coverage or public viewing.

“The company involved sent out private invitations.

“The flying car is an initiative by young folk keen to use innovation in the industry, and to have others follow suit.

“I can’t disclose where (the trial) will be (carried out),” he told reporters at the Parliament lobby today.

He said several issues, especially that concerning airspace, must be sorted out before any decision is made on the flying car’s production.

“We are still debating the matter of airspace.”

Yesterday, when winding up the debate on the 2020 Supply Bill, Redzuan invited interested lawmakers to join the Thursday trial in Subang. – Bernama, November 19, 2019.
