FORMER prime minister Najib Razak said the investigation into the “Nga Kor Ming super fans page” is in the hands of police now after he was questioned in Bukit Aman today.

The Pekan MP, who claims to be a witness, arrived at Bukit Aman today in a Toyota Alphard at 11am and was questioned by police for a little more than an hour.

“I was called to be a witness in the investigations of the Nga Khor Ming super fans page.

“I leave it to the police to make a decision and take the appropriate action,” he said upon his exit from Bukit Aman at 12.45pm.

Police questioned Najib on his Facebook postings in retaliation to posts in the the “Nga Kor Ming super fans page”.

“They asked me about the posting and the purpose of the posting and what my role was in posting it,” he said.

Police won’t be calling him back any time soon in regard to the investigation, he said.

On September 29, a statement insulting the sultan of Selangor was posted on Facebook via “Nga Kor Ming super fans page”, allegedly asking the Chinese to protest against the sultan who decreed the removal of bilingual road signs in the state.

Nga, however, denied that he and DAP were involved in making the posting, adding that it was a fake account.

Najib, however, had made comments on his own Facebook page alleging that the Teluk Intan MP was indeed behind the postings. – October 18, 2019.
