AMPANG PKR Youth chief Adam Rosly has been charged at the Sessions Court with giving false statements and forging documents to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) officers in the course of investigations into his personal wealth, according to the Star daily.
Adam, 29, pleaded not guilty to all charges when they were read out to him today.
Sessions Court judge Allaudeen Ismail set bail at RM300,000 in one surety for all offences.
Adam, who is special officer to Ampang MP Zuraida Kamaruddin, was detained on April 13 after MACC officers recorded his statement in Putrajaya.
His wealth came into the limelight after Red Shirts leader Seri Jamal Yunos questioned how he was able to own a castle-style bungalow in Ampang at such a young age.
Adam claimed that he had amassed his wealth through business ventures and inheritance from his family. – April 21, 2017.
