THE Najib Razak Facebook pages should be investigated for spreading fake news, said Dewan Rakyat Deputy Speaker Nga Kor Ming.

In a statement today, Nga said he has given a statement at the Bukit Aman police headquarters in Kuala Lumpur to assist the authorities in its investigation.

“I have given a statement to the police on this matter.”

Nga, who is also Teluk Intan MP, had reports made against him over the “Nga Kor Ming Super Fans Page” that allegedly insulted Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.

It was reported that Nga, also Perak DAP chief, had said the Facebook page was not linked to him or DAP but was masquerading as such.

He added there were at least two pages called “Nga Kor Ming Super Fans Page” that showed they were started in November 2018 and August this year.

He said the allegations made by former prime minister Najib that the pages were linked to him were baseless. – October 8, 2019.
