NO element of crime was found in the irregularities in Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera’s (LTAT) financial standing for the year ending December 31, 2018, (FY2018), said its chairman, Dr Mohd Zahidi Zainuddin.
He said the irregularities found in past transactions were due to mismanagement by the previous management that were not properly accounted for.
“In our deliberations, it was mismanagement, and this mismanagement was not properly accounted for.
“Unfortunately, when we commissioned Ernst & Young to audit, we found discrepancies which were not criminal but due to the mismanagement that had taken place,” he told a media conference after announcing LTAT’s FY2018 performance in Kuala Lumpur today. – Bernama, September 30, 2019.
