POLICE have warned Red Shirts leader Jamal Md Yunos today against doing anything illegal ahead of Saturday’s anti-kleptocracy rally after the Sg Besar Umno chief said he will set up a stall to sell “cheap” fish there.

Deputy Inspector-General of Police Noor Rashid Ibrahim warned Jamal that he is not above the law and told him to not create any trouble.

So, I advise Jamal, don’t be a disturbance and don’t try to create chaos,” he said at Bukit Jalil today.

Yesterday, Jamal said that he would be selling fish at Padang Timur in Petaling Jaya on October 14 at the same time as the Pakatan Harapan rally.

The PH anti-kleptocracy rally is to mark the end of a nationwide ceramah and is scheduled to be held at Padang Timur on Saturday from 4pm to 11pm.

Police have asked PH to move the rally to the Kelana Jaya stadium to avoid traffic congestion and said action will be taken if they insist on having it in Padang Timur.

“We made our assessment based on three things. We want to ensure the safety of the people, no traffic congestion and that the law is observed.

“The organisers need to have social and legal responsibility when holding this event,” Rashid said. – October 12, 2017.

  • All the antics from Jamal Jamban has no benefial outcome for any Malaysian at all. His is a publicity stunt and a front for politicians to create chaos and a public nuisance. His gimmicks has reached a point where it has become nonsensical and moronic. In the Rakyat view he is making a fool of the law and repugn the police tolerance in his purposeful actions. It create a perception that he is above the Police institution and he could abuse the inefeffctiveness of police proceeding in apprehending him. Remanding him and releasing after two to three days has now become norm to him and taken for granted. He should be charged and hauled up for seditions, commotions , disrespect to state rulers and creating racial conflicts. Is the police in Selangor very forgiving or being incompetent to deal with such obnoxious character..
