POLICE have asked Lokman Noor Adam to submit evidence the Umno Supreme Council member said he obtained from a UK-based company on a sex video that implicates Economic Affairs Minister Mohamed Azmin Ali.
Bukit Aman’s Criminal Investigation Department has sent Lokman a letter asking for copies of the video given to the company, Verden Forensics, which provides forensic analysis services, reported Free Malaysia Today.
Police are also asking for the company’s report on video.
Lokman said he would meet police on September 2 as he is currently in Indonesia.
The Umno last week said upon return from the UK that he had engaged a a firm to verify the sex video that features two men.
He said the firm found that the two men “matched” photos of Azmin and former Santubong PKR Youth chief Haziq Abdullah Abdul Aziz.
Haziq has admitted to being one of the men in the video and named Azmin as the other.
Azmin, who is PKR deputy president, has denied this and said the video is a plot to destroy his political career.
Inspector-General of Police Abdul Hamid Bador has said that Malaysian experts found that the video’s authenticity is “highly probable” but that the identity of the men could not be accurately verified.
Lokman again questioned why the police have yet to submit their investigation papers on the sex video to the attorney-general, and why neither PKR nor the Pakatan Harapan government was taking any action against Azmin. – August 28, 2019.
