SYED Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman today lodged a police report over threats made against him and his family members by the people who offered him RM5 million to leave Bersatu.

The Bersatu Armada (Youth) chief declined to give details of the report, or where he lodged it, saying only that it involved “personal threats and blackmailing”.

“I am already at the police station,” he said in a WhatsApp message.

“Really sorry, can’t make this a media event as it involves some very personal threats and blackmailing against me and my family.

“I might call a press conference or release a statement after I seek professional advice from the police,” he said.

On Monday, Syed Saddiq revealed that he was offered the sum of money to ditch his party and afterwards criticise its chairman, Dr Mahathir Mohamad, and challenge the 92-year-old former prime minister to a debate. – October 4, 2017.

  • Young man , I believe you dilly dally too long and gives the time for your opponents to recuperate and plan the other contigencies. You should have take the offensive stand to gain the "first mover" advantage and pre-empt their black mailing to diffuse of their intent. Pieces of information should be revealed in queue with all the bigwig of the PH in support. You will have the whole country stir up in support. It is still not too late if your planning is right.
