SIX suspects have been held in police remand for six days to assist in the investigation into the distribution of sex vidoes implicating Economic Affairs Minister Mohamed Azmin Ali, Free Malaysia Today reports.

Sacked Santubong PKR Youth leader Haziq Abdullah Abdul Aziz and a Selangor PKR division leader were among those arrested last night.

It is learnt they are under investigation for distributing pornography, under the  Communications and Multimedia Act 1998.

The six appeared before the Magistrate’s Court in Jalan Duta this morning for the hearing for a remand order.

The police action against the six came following Inspector-General of Police Abdul Hamid Bador’s remarks on Saturday that his men have identified the mastermind behind the production and circulation of the sex video.

Hamid said it was possible that politicians and a pressure group were involved in the case.

“We have found evidence of a conspiracy and a plot by certain quarters in the production and circulation of the sex videos implicating a minister (aimed) to topple someone,” he had said.

Hamid said once the investigations were completed, those involved would be arrested.

Last month, a series of clips showing two men engaging in sexual acts were released on WhatsApp.

Haziq subsequently said he was one of the men in the videos, and that Azmin was the other.

Azmin had denied the claims, calling the affair a conspiracy to ruin his career. PKR has since sacked Haziq.

This is the second time Haziq has been arrested in connection with the case. He was picked up and held overnight by police past month. – July 15, 2019.

  • Yes we heard you loud and clear Hamid Bador. You stated that it is a conspiracy and arrest has been made. What about the authenticity of the video.?? Is the players in the love act really the person stated and one of the actor's have confirmed his role and got arrested. Are yu going to leave it just as that. We the rakyat has high expectations on you and believe that you are what you claimed. That is without fear and favour you shall act against all the corruptions and crimes. Now that leaves us in the most important questions.!!!!! What about the other love making partners. It is impossible for one to screw one self in the back orifice. It is an act of two person to the love making. Actually nobody cares about their life style in what they do to each other in privacy but since it has been blown out of proportions , let's see fair justice and no higher power intervention or it could be seen as Najib regime has not really left the office with PH in place
