THE father of Haziq Abdullah Abdul Aziz has alleged that police officers from Bukit Aman forced their way into his house in Kuching yesterday, reports theSun.
Abdul Aziz Ibrahim lodged a police report on the incident, which he said took place at 5pm yesterday when officers came to question him about his son, the Santubong PKR Youth chief who claims to have had a sexual relationship with Economic Affairs Minister Azmin Ali.
“About five policemen, one wearing the green vest, while four others in plainclothes forced their way through to my house compound,” he was quoted as saying.
Aziz said the police officers claimed they were from Bukit Aman police headquarters and wanted to speak to him about Haziq, but did not produce any identification.
However, he did say they came in a police car and wore police vests.
Aziz told the paper that he lodged a police report at the Kuching district police station at 1am today.
Photos of the police report were posted to Haziq’s Facebook account with a caption urging people to leave his family alone. However, the post has since been deleted.
Haziq has been unreachable by journalists seeking his comments since a clip of two men was circulated early Tuesday.
However, the Facebook page under his name posted a video confession on Wednesday morning in which he admitted to being one of the men in the sex clip.
He also named the other man as Azmin and said the video was taken without his (Haziq’s) consent.
Azmin has denied the video and called it a nefarious plot to destroy his political career.
The Facebook account using Haziq’s name yesterday posted another claim that he and Azmin had had previous sexual encounters dating back to three years ago.
Haziq also lodged a police report at the Kelana Jaya police station yesterday to deny that he had a political agenda. – June 14, 2019.
