JOHOR will unveil three new faces in the 11-man executive council which will be sworn in today by Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar, The Star reports today.

They are Mohd Izhar Ahmad and Mohd Solihan Badri of Bersatu and DAP’s Tan Chen Choon.

Izhar is Larkin assemblyman, Solihan (Tenang) while Tan is a second-term Jementah assemblyman.

Bersatu has another slot in the line-up following the appointment of Johor Pakatan secretary Dr Sahruddin Jamal as menteri besar.

Bersatu president and Johor Pakatan Harapan chairman Muhyiddin Yassin said the sultan consented to the appointment during an audience yesterday.

“The menteri besar presented the new exco line-up and it received the ruler’s consent and I’m grateful,” he was quoted as saying. – April 22, 2019.
