PAS Selangor ready to contest 56 state seats

PAS Selangor has put its election machinery on high alert today on all 22 parliamentary and 56 state constituencies to face the next general election.

State PAS commissioner Sallehen Mukhyi said the Islamist party is prepared to contest at least 42 state seats and in as many parliamentary seats as possible to realise its election slogan “Spearheading Selangor’s prosperity”.

“It is PAS’ hope to bring prosperity and wellbeing to Selangor, like how it was attained under Pakatan Rakyat Selangor in the last two terms from 2008 to 2013.

“PAS Selangor will continue to put all effort, and to take all measures according to the Islamic approach to improve its existing capacity,” he said in a statement.

Sallehen said the party is ready in terms of preparation of machinery and manpower to face new challenges at GE14. – September 16, 2017.

  • Selangor will continue to prosper with or without PAS, and can be a lot better without PAS, because they're deadwood, anti-progress and more keen to bring outdated 7th century hearsay into advanced Selangor. PAS should first develop Kelantan to Selangor's level before talking about prosperity and progress.
