BARISAN Nasional candidate Mohamad Hasan just wants to win in Rantau tomorrow and is concerned not by the margin of victory.

“As long as we can win, it doesn’t matter if we win 10-0 or 1-0, the winning team only gets three points,” he said in Rantau today, referring to the points garnered by a winning team in a football match.

The acting Umno president said that he is confident of winning tomorrow, and urged voters to come out early to vote.

“I am sure the voters will come out early to vote tomorrow, and ensure a victory for Barisan Nasional,” he said.

The Rantau by-election sees a four-cornered fight involving Mohamad, Pakatan Harapan’s Dr S. Streram and two independents.

A total of 20,793 voters are eligible to vote tomorrow. – April 12, 2019.
