Johor is Bersatu’s, says Muhyiddin on Amanah MB candidate rumours

Muhyiddin Yassin says it has been agreed upon that Johor will be governed by Bersatu during the 14th general election amid rumours that Amanah had been told to submit candidates for menteri besar. – The Malaysian Insight pic by Irwan Majid, April 11, 2019.

JOHOR was allocated to Bersatu in the 14th general election, said Muhyiddin Yassin of rumours that Amanah will submit the names of candidates for menteri besar if asked by the sultan.

“It has been decided since the last general election on who should lead the states if we win.

“So in this case, Johor has been given to Bersatu but I’m being open about the suggestions because it is their voice and we will listen to them.

“But in the end, we know that it (Johor) is Bersatu’s. We hope that when we submit the names, it is accepted by the sultan,” Muhyiddin told reporters at a press conference today.

The home minister also said two or three names have been identified as menteri besar candidates but it should be reviewed before presenting it to the sultan.

Asked if Johor Health, Environment and Agricultural Committee chairman Dr Sahruddin Jamal was one of them, he said he doesn’t know. – April 11, 2019.

  • Corrections!!! Johore is Malaysian not Bersatu. If Bersatu has no one of capability and caliber please do not hang on and foolishly insist that it is not for others. To date most of Bersatu Ministers and MBs are totally incompetent !!!!. Even Umno retard Ministers and MBs are made to look intelligent by the inept Bersatu Ministers
