ROSMAH Mansor is back at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission headquarters in Putrajaya this afternoon for what is believed to be another round of questioning in relation to a hybrid solar power project for Sarawak rural schools.

The Malaysian Insight learnt that Rosmah was told to turn up at 2pm.

MACC has already referred charges against Rosmah and her former aide, Rizal Mansor, for soliciting RM187.5 million and for receiving RM1.5 million in bribes related to the RM1.25 billion solar projects.

The charge sheet states that the RM187.5 million is equivalent to 15% of the total project value, but prosecutors said that Rosmah only received a fraction of the sum solicited.

The project for 369 rural schools in Sarawak was awarded by the Education Ministry through direct negotiation.

The education minister at the time was Mahdzir Khalid.

MACC has already arrested three individuals, including a company director, to facilitate investigations.

Najib Razak was also summoned to the MACC headquarters last year to give his statement for the probe, as was Mahdzir. – April 9, 2019.
