Azri said in a statement that he will be charged in the Kajang court tomorrow under Sections 324 and 509 of the Penal Code.

These sections pertain to voluntarily causing hurt and insulting the modesty of a person with words or objects, respectively.

“I was informed by the investigating officer that the minister, Syed Saddiq, had soft injuries to his body and on the basis of such injuries, I am to be charged,” he said.

Azri said he will abide by the request to present himself in court tomorrow .

“I have always held to the principle that one need not be afraid if one is true, and I need not fear the charges because I have submitted them to Allah.”

Syed Saddiq last week lodged a police report alleging that Azri had held him in a chokehold when their paths crossed on nomination day for the Semenyih by-election.

Azri filed a counter complaint, saying the minister had made a false report. – February 27, 2019.

  • The Papagomo bangsat deserves his just deserts which is Long overdue, I may add. As for the Deputy IGP he should explain how and why he jumped to the earlier that it was a misunderstanding. Is he trying to cover up for Papagomo? If it is, why?
