PAKATAN Harapan does not deny the fact that its candidate in the Semenyih by-election, Muhammad Aiman Zainali, lacks experience, said Azmin Ali.

But taking a dig at former prime minister Najib Razak, the economic affairs minister said what the 30-year-old lacks is experience stealing the people’s money and being involved in crime.

“I agree when they say the Pakatan Harapan candidate does not have experience.

“Aiman does not have experience of stealing money. He has no experience of a bank account with RM2.6 billion, nor has Aiman any experience with a woman named Altantuya (Shaariibuu),” the PKR deputy president said during a ceramah in Semenyih yesterday.

The reason PH fielded a young candidate is to tap into his energy and ideas, he said.

“We have the energy, we have new ideas, that is why we chose Aiman.

“Give the young a chance, so that there are new ideas. Go into the state assembly and help the menteri besar formulate policies and develop.”

The former menteri besar added that he will try to help Selangor folk as much as he can because of his attachment to the state.

The by-election is on Saturday and the candidates are Aiman, Zakaria Hanafi (BN), Nik Aziz Afiq Abdul (PSM) and independent Kuan Chee Heng. – February 25, 2019.

  • This is the reason why people voted for PH rather than for BN. Given than BN has not changed, people should continue to vote for PH as the only viable alternative.

  • PH needs to change their campaign strategy already. To keep being sarcastic towards the old regime is passed already. Cameron results reflected that already. People wants to hear ideas and policies from the candidate.
