Announcement on tolls soon, says Muhyiddin

THE government will make an important announcement on toll collection soon, said Bersatu president Muhyiddin Yassin.

“We just discussed this in the cabinet… maybe in a day or two, a statement on tolls will be announced by the minister concerned,” he said at a rally in conjunction with the Semenyih by-election in Batu 26, Beranang, last night.

He did not give details.

Muhyiddin, who is also home minister, was talking about Pakatan Harapan’s 14th general election manifesto, which contained a pledge to reduce highway toll rates and possibly abolish toll collection.

Among the 150 people who attended the rally were Selangor Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari, Perak Menteri Besar Ahmad Faizal Azumu, and Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail. – Bernama, February 22, 2019.

  • After more than nine months as the Government , with many misgivings and miseries to the rakyat reneging on the sweet pledges of the manifesto, only now talking about annoucement of toll collections --------- what a big turn off!!!!!!!!. All the thousand of excuses in not implementing simple reforms and rebates only affirmed that PH is incompetent !!!!!. At the same time many wastages and disregards of prudence spending are still seen. CMs of each states are still in the propensity toward frivolities and shenanigens while at the same time the federal are singing the same tune fo financial constrain caused by the previous Government. All these foolish and hypocritic drama are getting on the raw nerves of the rakyat. As confirmed Semenyih is not in PH pockets anymore. Just go ahead and talk to anyone in the street. PH sama sja like Umno.Tipu dan bohong banyak !!! Nothing great.!!!! PH deserve to have a kick in the ass of extreme rude awakening.
