LAWYER Sankara Nair said he will contact Attorney-General Tommy Thomas to seek an inquest into Nora Anne Quoirin’s death if the post-mortem has evidence to merit it.

Acting for Nora’s family, Sankara said it’s too early to expect anything until the pathologist report is ready.

The family have yet to decide on their next action as they’re still traumatised over the incident, he said, adding that they are expecting some development later today.

“It is a very highly traumatic situation. It is loss of a daughter and child. It is unfortunate.

“So, we haven’t discussed on that because they’re still pondering on next cause of action. Perhaps later today but right now no,” Sankara at Tuanku Jaafar Hospital today.

Nora’s body was found in a stream near Seremban yesterday after a 10-day search.

Currently, a team of pathologists from Kuala Lumpur Hospital are carrying out a post-mortem on the teenager.

The team, headed by a senior pathologist, arrived about 9am and began the examination about an hour later at the Department of Forensic Medicine. – August 14, 2019.
