“I met my daughter and I asked her why she was travelling to Malaysia and who she was going to meet.
“She said she was meeting a man named Razak. But she didn’t tell me if it was Najib Razak or Razak Baginda. She further said that she wants to get help for her son’s treatment,” Shaariibuu said under examination by counsel Ramkarpal Singh.
Asked if if he had learnt what Razak looked like during his conversation with his daughter, he said he had not.
He said he later took the opportunity to look into her handbag when she was in the bathroom.
“She went to the toilet and suddenly her phone rang. I opened her bag and saw a picture of her with two men,” Shaariibuu said
Shaariibuu said he asked Altantuya who these two men were, and she replied that they were the men she was supposed to meet in Kuala Lumpur.
