MISSING Sipitang MP Yamani Hafez Musa has arrived in Malaysia last night, reported a Sabah news portal, today.

The portal quoted a source confirming the 39-year-old arriving in Kuala Lumpur around 9pm last night.

Yamani is expected to take his oath as MP at a special chambers in Parliament on Monday.

“It is really him (Yamani) who arrived last night, I got the information about his arrival last night,” the source through the WhatsApp application.

Yamani was previously reported to be in London, United Kingdom accompanying his father, former Sabah chief minister Musa Aman, who was undergoing medical treatment there.

Yamani was last spotted in May at an unknown medical facility in London with his father, Musa, in photographs that made the rounds on social media showing the latter on a sick bed.

After the 14th general election, the Sipitang MP reportedly accompanied Musa to London for medical treatment on May 17.

Two statements issued by the Parliament speaker’s office on December 19 and January 2 this year said Yamani will take his oath at 10am before Speaker Mohamad Ariff Md Yusof.

He will be the last MP to be sworn in after being issued with a warning for his continuous absence since May last year. – January 6, 2019.
