26 of 108 arrested in temple probe charged in court

A TOTAL of 26 of the 108 individuals arrested in the Sri Maha Mariamman temple investigation have been charged in court, said the inspector-general of police today.

Bernama reported Mohamad Fuzi Harun as also saying that 10 of the 66 people the police are still looking for have stepped forward to give their statements.

The November 26 fracas resulted in the death of fireman Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim, and destruction of property.

Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department (CID) director Wan Ahmad Najmuddin Mohd has urged all witnesses to come forward and cooperate with police.
