PAS insists talks with PKR on the distribution of seats in the 14th General Election will not happen, Utusan Online reported.

PAS vice-president Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah said that the matter was clear after they have cut ties with PKR in May.

It was reported earlier that PKR president Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail was seeking talks with the Islamist party to avoid their candidates facing each other in the next election.

“Even though PAS and PKR still have room for discussions, for now, we will not have any discussions with PKR.

“If Dr Wan Azizah wants to discuss the issue of seat allocations in the election, it is simple for us.

“PKR should not contest in any seats that PAS are contesting in,” he said.

According to the report, PKR has been seen trying to cooperate with PAS to face the election.

Talk of a reconciliation emerged when pictures of Dr Wan Azizah and Selangor Menteri Besar Azmin Ali visiting PAS president Hadi Awang were circulated recently.

A few days later, the PKR political bureau reversed its decision that the party’s 75 members to resign from their positions in the Kelantan state government.

PKR gave the reason that the Kelantan menteri besar has issued a statement that PAS Kelantan still need the cooperation of PKR in governing the state.

The move has made PAS splinter party and Pakatan Harapan component party Amanah uneasy.

PKR is also seen facing problems in seat allocations with DAP, as their veteran political leader Lim Kit Siang is asking for the Gurun and Kulim state assembly seats from PKR. – August 23, 2017.

    Yes, of cos.

PKR cannot contest in any PAS seats.

PAS is, of cos, allowed to contest in any seats it likes.

    Sounds fair, doesn't it?

Quite expected from Parti Anak Syaitan.
