THE five Umno leaders – led by deputy president Mohamad Hasan – who met Dr Mahathir Mohamad a few months ago were seeking advice on how to leave the party, the prime minister and Bersatu chairman said today.

Dr Mahathir said this in denying Mohamad’s claim that the meeting was to seek a reprieve for Umno’s deregistration.

“No. They came to see me to tell me that they wanted to leave Umno and sought my advice. That was it; there were no other matters,” Dr Mahathir told reporters on the sidelines of an event at the Islamic Arts Museum in Kuala Lumpur today.

He was commenting on photos showing Mohamad and other Umno MPs posing with Dr Mahathir and having dinner with him that were widely shared on social media yesterday.

Mohamad, when asked about the photos, had said they were “old ones” taken in September when he and other party reps had visited the prime minister in a bid to prevent Umno’s deregistration.

Besides Mohamad and Dr Mahathir, other in the photos are Tanjung Karang MP Noh Omar, Putrajaya MP Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor, Larut MP Hamzah Zainuddin and Arau MP Shahidan Kassim. – December 14, 2018.

Now comes the Question: Of all the ppl in the said photo, can you identify the honest and sincere MP(s)?

  • Mohd Hassan caught lying. Hahaha. The same guy who tried to put the blame on Chinese for the woes of the Malays when the real culprits are Malay leaders like him who plundered the country under the guise of untuk agama dan bangsa.

  • UMNO can close shop...Break it to have a new party and no more bullshit. It's better Pakatan don't take in those UMNO bad apples.

  • The stupidity of Umno leaders has no end. One after another ridiculous antics are just in the act of hammering in nails after nails into the coffin. Umno is going to be dead and gone for good. The old man does not have to lift any fingers to get it done. Umno leaders and war lords are doing it on themselves and soon will be at each other throats. Devils in turmoil from their own concoctions.
