POLICE have arrested seven men following a clash at a Hindu temple in USJ25, Subang Jaya, early today.

The suspects, all in their 30s, were arrested as of noon, following the incident at the Sri Maha Mariamman temple that started about 2am.

Selangor police chief Mazlan Mansor warned all quarters against taking the law into their own hands, and advised people to remain calm so as to allow police to carry out their investigation smoothly.

“The probe is being conducted aggressively, and arrests will be made,” he said, adding that the incident is being investigated for mischief and rioting.

He earlier told a press conference that two men were arrested at Serdang Hospital, where they had sought treatment for injuries sustained in the incident. – Bernama, November 26, 2018.
