A letter issued by the palace to the Selangor government, dated November 19, said the signs must be removed immediately and replaced before Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah’s 73rd birthday celebrations next month.

  • Instead of eliminating all sorts of racial discrimination, we seemed to have increased racial discrimination to the point of intimidation. This is not the new Malaysia we voted for.

  • What is happening? Is anyone in PH trying to sabotage the party and government? As if ICERD has not caused enough fear and consternation now this new provocation! What is the urgency to include Chinese in the street signs? Is PH hell bent on being a one term government? I hope better senses prevail. If a large number of Malays decide to rebel, the whole country is doomed.
