SG Petani folk generally appreciate the vigilante Badar Squad’s work to prevent immoral activities in their town.
However, they are also concerned that the group’s actions, though well-intentioned, are illegal. There are residents who are uncomfortable with the squad’s activities, too.

There are laws in this country. Regardless what their intentions are they do not have the authority to conduct raids or detain anybody or haul anybody to any location. Even in the name of God and Religion.
Tribal laws do not apply in this day and age. Ban them immediately please, we need to have order by Law.

The moment vigilantes are allowed to dictate public behaviour, then we would have returned to the dark age of mob rule.

This bunch of misfits are none other than Islamic Extremist in the guise of religious vigilante. If the Sungei Petani folks allow this to carry on , it wil soon be le ISIS running their Calipahte. Start your own vigilante to dilute of this group activities . They are drunk with power and could be abusive and create commotions. They can be thuggish too if things do not go their way. Since the police are passive in response to this idiots start taking care of one self by grouping. Protect yourself at all times This should wake up the police to take actions. Unbelievable that police allows such gathering of big groups like 40 peoples to run rampage in a town. This is no more a peaceful gathering with good intentions to perform good intentions but using volume to instill fear and bullying. Their activities are shaming the PDRM and intimidating law abiding citizen. Stop it.
