PRIME Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad said he would like to run up a national debt of RM1 trillion and see how Najib Razak settled it.
“Yes, I want to join him in borrowing RM1 trillion, and then manage to pay it all back. If he can tell me how, for example, like bringing back the money he is hiding, then we can pay our debt,” he sarcastically told reporters in Kuala Lumpur today.

Dear Najib, your so-called 5-6% growth during your PM tenureship should be measured by the few hundred % national debt growth.
You cannot so-called grow GDP by going into debt of more than 1T. Someone will have to pay this debt ultimately due to your follies!
Your performance as Finance Minister should be -F utter flop!

If Tun racked up a couple of trillions more ringgit, Malaysia might get an ECRL 2.0 to link KL with Kota Kinabalu via an undersea tunnel. Call it trickery or magic, this is the folly of smart leadership.
