PENAMPANG MP Darell Leiking today dared those claiming Parti Warisan Sabah was giving out Malaysian identification cards to illegal immigrants to lodge police reports.

Leiking said that Warisan had done no such thing, and that those with evidence to the contrary should lodge police reports immediately.

“Many people are accusing Warisan of issuing MyKads to illegal migrants. There is no such thing. I am now challenging these people.

“If we are doing this, please show us proof,” he said in Labuan.

He said those playing up this issue were bent on dividing Kadazandusun and Murut communities in the state.

Claims had surfaced that a flooding in of illegal migrants from neighbouring Indonesia and the Philippines were the results of an alleged “Projek IC” in the state, posing a threat on the rights of Bumiputera communities in Sabah. – October 11, 2018.
