PAKATAN Harapan will unveil its new logo on June 9. 

The matter was decided after the new coalition’s presidential council met in Putrajaya this evening.

“We agreed on Harapan’s new logo after some minor modifications,” said PH adviser Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

The initial logo came under fire by netizens after it was unveiled on Pandan MP Rafizi Ramli’s Facebook page earlier this month.

The fledgling coalition then turned to the public to help it design a new logo. 

On another matter, Dr Mahathir denied that today’s meeting was to decide on the interim prime minister for PH should they win the next general election.

“We did not discuss that today. We only talked about the logo, which has already taken so much time,” said the Bersatu chairman.

Today’s meeting was attended by PKR president Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng and Amanah president Mohamad Sabu. – May 31, 2017.
