WARISAN president Mohd Shafie Apdal is still in two minds over where he will stand in the general election.

He said there are several considerations to be made before deciding to defend the Semporna parliamentary seat that he has held since 1995.

“I’m not sure yet, I haven’t made a decision. We will see when the time comes,” he said in Kota Kinabalu last night.

In 2018, Shafie successfully defended Semporna with a 20,764 majority but there have been rumours that he would contest in Lahad Datu against Mohamaddin Ketapi, who quit Warisan in October 2021. – Bernama, October 17, 2022.
