MOH reports 1,608 new Covid cases

MALAYSIA reported 1,608 new Covid-19 cases yesterday, compared to 1,924 cases on Saturday. 

The CovidNow website showed there have been 4.83 million infections since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.

There were 545 infections in Selangor yesterday, followed by Kuala Lumpur (314), Perak (141), Sabah (135), Negri Sembilan (79), Penang (77), Kedah (54), Sarawak (52), Johor (49), Malacca (42), Putrajaya (31), Kelantan (29), Pahang (28), Terengganu (21) and Perlis (11).

Labuan reported no new infections in the past 24 hours.

Two deaths were reported, bringing the death toll to 36,350.

Some 51 patients are in intensive care, 29 of whom require respiratory support. – September 26, 2022.
