PASIR Salak MP Tajuddin Abdul Rahman has been dropped as Malaysia’s ambassador to Indonesia, Free Malaysia Today reports.
Citing a source, the news portal said the out-of-favour Umno politician’s name is not on a list of other envoys who are to receive letters of appointments from the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong tomorrow.
The source said this is because Putrajaya had decided to drop his appointment, citing “a change of heart”.
“His (Tajuddin) name was not included in the latest list of envoys that will receive their ‘surat watikah’ (letter of appointment),” FMT quoted the source as saying.
The Malaysian Insight has been trying to contact Tajuddin for his comments. – July 11, 2022.
