PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang was discharged today from the National Heart Institute (IJN) after receiving treatment for exhaustion.

Hadi, in a Facebook post, said he was allowed to go home after receiving treatment since Monday.

“I am very grateful and indebted to the doctors and staff at the Putrajaya Hospital Emergency Unit and IJN, for their high efficiency and professionalism, as well as to all those who prayed for my health,” he said.

On Monday, Hadi was rushed to Putrajaya Hospital before being transferred to IJN after suffering from breathing difficulties. 

He said that during his treatment period he had also followed developments in local and foreign news, especially those regarding the Covid-19 National Immunisation Programme.

Hadi also said that he followed the launch of the National Unity Policy by Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin, as well as the various measures taken to curb the spread of the virus and economic recovery.
