PRIME Minister Muhyiddin Yassin has told Malaysians to reject politicians trying to disrupt the country’s political stability and economic recovery plan, after Anwar Ibrahim said the Perikatan Nasional government had collapsed.

“I plead with you to not blindly support certain politicians who deliberately want to disrupt political stability and the economic recovery plan, which is progressing well,” he said alluding to the PKR leader.

In a special televised address today, Muhyiddin called for the public’s continued support for his government as the country weathers the twin challenges of a health pandemic and economic crisis.

He also announced a new economic stimulus package worth RM10 billion, known as Kita Prihatin.

“My announcement today shows that the Perikatan Nasional government has heard your plight. We are trying our best to help the people go through this challenging time,” he said.

“What is needed is a strong government with your support,” he added.

He said this is necessary for the government to effectively execute more initiatives for economic recovery. – September 23, 2020.

  • Unfortunately TSMY you don't have a stable govt and you certainly did not consider stability when bringing down the PH govt which was elected by popular mandate when Covid-19 had started. Now you cry over the same thing. Shame on you as the PH govt had popular mandate and you cannot now ask the public to support you. You have seriously compromised the integrity of GLCs by appointing political clowns to the top position for supporting you. Good riddance to bad rubbish as far as I am concerned
