DR Rohaizat Yon, the ‘comrade-in-arms’ of director-general of health Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah in the fight against Covid-19, has returned to serve the Health Ministry until the end of the year.

Noor Hisham announced this at his weekly press conference today in Putrajaya.

Rohaizat, who was the deputy director-general of health (medical), retired in July after serving the ministry for 35 years.

As one of the officials who appeared alongside Noor Hisham during the press briefings, Rohaizat has received his fair share of public attention and commendation. – August 10, 2020.
