PAS’ Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor was sworn in as Kedah’s 14th menteri besar at Wisma Darul Aman today.

The swearing-in ceremony took place before Kedah’s Sultan Sallehuddin Sultan Badlishah at 3.05pm.

Sanusi replaces Mukhriz Mahathir, who lost the confidence of the state assembly.

In his first press conference as menteri besar, Sanusi, 46, said his government will be fair to everyone.

“There will be no victimsation of anyone, including those appointed by the previous government,” he said.

“We will continue some of the programmes of the previous government.

“We will improve some while for others, we will push the reset button.

  • Talk is cheap. We do not trust un thieves who enter by the backdoor. You do not know the depth of bad feeling among the people until you go for the next elections. You were elected to serve the people not to usurp power for personal aggrandizement.
