Amanah picks Anwar as PM

AMANAH has endorsed a motion to pick Pakatan Harapan (PH) adviser Anwar Ibrahim to be prime minister should the opposition win the next general election.

On the final day of Amanah’s convention in Alor Setar, the 899 delegates approved the motion which was proposed by Amanah Johor without debate.

The Amanah convention also endorsed a motion for party president Mohamad Sabu and vice-president Mujahid Yusof Rawa to contest in Penang during the next elections.

The two Amanah leaders are from Penang.

Only two out of the 31 motions were turned down.

One of the motions that were rejected was for the PH Presidential Council to begin negotiations with Parti Warisan Sabah. – October 22, 2017.

  • F*** you Amanah. What bloody right do you have to chose our PM. PM must be chosen by Malaysian. It is not fair that Malaysian PM post is always held by a Malay.
