Bukit Melawati assemblywoman Juwairiya Zulkifli has denied allegations of having an extramarital affair with Selangor Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari.

The Selangor lawmaker threatened legal action on those who continue to spread lies about her.

Juwairiya said she was never in a room at the Four Points Hotel in Sandakan with Amirudin as claimed by the Facebook user by the name “Aku Darah Anak Malaysia – ADAM”.

The posting was uploaded on July 9.

Juwairiya said her lawyers are now looking into the allegation and she would not hesitate to take to court those spreading what was “defamatory”.

“I have discussed the matter with my lawyers and we will monitor the situation to determine our next course of action.

“What is certain is that it is defamatory and I can assure you that I was not in that location on the alleged date,” she said in a statement today.

Juwairiya in the statement also disclosed that she had lodged a report with police to initiate a criminal investigation and also with the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission on misuse of the social media network to spread the “lies” which she said besmirched her reputation and credibility as a representative of the people.

The Facebook page also stated that on May 11, “they hacked into Haziq, Azmin and Hilman’s videos and caught on the CCTV were these two Ybs”.

On July 3, a video, reportedly taken from the Four Points Hotel with security camera, purportedly captured the now-sacked Santubong PKR Youth chief Haziq Abdullah Abdul Aziz walking along a corridor of the hotel went public.

Haziq had claimed that he was with Economic Affairs Minister Mohamed Azmin Ali frolicking in a gay sex video.

Azmin has denied the claim.

The 3-minute and 37 seconds CCTV grab reportedly showed Haziq walking from the hotel lobby to Azmin’s room.

The man, who was wearing a hooded jacket, was recorded to have entered the room at 1.07am.

The same man left the room at 1.43am on May 11.

Another man, who resembles Azmin’s political secretary Hilman Idham, was also seem walking to and fro in the video. – July 11, 2019.
